Alexander Volkanovski Says Strickland Is ‘Going To Definitely Pay’ At UFC 293 For Trash-Talking Adesanya | MiddleEasy

  • Alexander Volkanovski shared his honest take on Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland
  • “The Great” is certain “Tarzan” will face the consequence of trash-talking Izzy
  • “I think it’s a great fight for him,” he added. “Obviously, Sean is going to talk, Sean is going to try and get under his skin. That’s going to make it fun. But I feel Izzy is going to really, really put it on him – especially with the talk that’s going to happen. I think Sean Strickland is going to definitely pay for some of the things he’s going to say. Stylistically, I feel like he’s going to definitely get hurt.”

    Sean is in Trouble

Adesanya will be coming in to defend his middleweight belt once again after reclaiming it from Alex Pereira at UFC 287. Strickland, meanwhile will try and do his best to make the most of the opportunity to become the new middleweight champion.

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is excited to see Israel Adesanya finally take on Sean Strickland at UFC 293 in Australia this weekend. According to “The Great,” “Tarzan” will surely run his mouth but Izzy will give him the business come fight night.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Volk said Strickland’s antics would make the fight even more interesting but it wouldn’t do any help when he faces Adesanya inside the cage. Volkanovski thinks “The Last Stylebender” will be fired up and extra fueled because of Strickland’s trash-talks.

    Izzy is unfazed

On the other hand, Adesanya suspects Strickland has been covering up his insecurity with some savage trash-talking. However, Izzy maintains that none of these factors affect his performance inside the Octagon.“Looking forward to this one it’s good to have obviously someone like myself or Izzy you know defending our belts here in Australia,” Volkanovski said of UFC 293.[embedded content]
