GLORY 88 Results: Tiffany van Soest Retains & Badr Hari Withdraws | FightBook MMA

Taking its place in the main event was the women’s super bantamweight title fight. America’s Tiffany van Soest (25-6-2, 10 KO) finished Sarah Moussaddak (8-4, 1 KO) with a brutal head kick in the second round. Known as the P4P women’s kickboxing GOAT, the 34-year-old hung up the gloves and called it time on her legendary career.  

Main Event
Super Bantamweight Title
Tiffany van Soest (25-6-2, 10 KO) def. Sarah Moussaddak (8-4, 1 KO) via KO (head kick), round 2, Germany’s Denis Wosik (38-8-1, 9 KO) won a hard-fought split decision over Berjan Peposhi (28-4, 16 KO) while Romania’s Stefan Latescu (16-2, 7 KO) and Serbia’s Nikola Todorovic (27-3, 14 KO) made successful starts to life in GLORY with victories over Pascal Touré (18-6, 6 KO) and Karim Ghajji (103-18-1, 53 KO), respectively. 

Welterweight
Diaguely Camara (24-4-1, 10 KO) def. Ilyass Chakir (16-4-1, 6 KO) via unanimous decision (30-25 x 5). Lightweight
James Condé (9-0, 4 KO) def. Jonathan Mayezo (26-8-1, 11 KO) via unanimous decision (30-27 x 3, 29-28 x 2). In the co-main event, Nordine Mahieddine (28-15, 13 KO) sent the whole arena wild with his devasting head kick knockout victory over Abderahmane Coulibaly (65-27-1, 25 KO) in what will be a KO of the year candidate. 

Featherweight
Denis Wosik (38-8-1, 9 KO) def. Berjan Peposhi (28-4, 16 KO) via split decision (30-27, 29-28 x 2, 28-29 x 2). Middleweight
Iliass Hammouche (33-6, 7 KO) def. Florian Kröger (19-10, 6 KO) via unanimous decision (30-27 x 2, 29-28 x 3). Firstly, Badr Hari withdrew from his fight with James McSweeney on compassionate grounds due to the Moroccan earthquake disaster. GLORY will donate all profits from the event to a charity in Morocco to help with all those affected. 

Welterweight
Nikola Todorovic (27-3, 14 KO) def. Karim Ghajji (103-18-1, 53 KO) via unanimous decision (30-27 x 3, 29-28 x 2). Light Heavyweight

In the opening bouts of the night, James Condé (9-0, 4 KO) remained undefeated and won the battle of France against Jonathan Mayezo (26-8-1, 11 KO), crowd favourite Iliass Hammouche (33-6, 7 KO) beat Florian Kröger (19-10, 6 KO), France’s own Diaguely Camara (24-4-1, 10 KO) looked impressive in his win over Ilyass Chakir (16-4-1, 6 KO).
