Jake Paul Slams ‘Coked Out’ Conor McGregor, Addresses Possibility of Fighting His Brother in the Boxing Ring | MiddleEasy

Paul also took a shot at McGregor’s performance against Nate Diaz when the two fighters initially squared off in 2016. Despite coming up short on the scorecards, Nate Diaz may not have been the weekend’s biggest loser. That honor could very well go to Canadian hip-hop artist Drake who dropped a 0,000 bet on Diaz to leave the Lone Star State with a W. Asked if he was at all offended by Drake putting down big money on the ‘Stockton Samurai,’ Jake Paul said:

While it remains to be seen whether or not Jake Paul will return to the squared circle before making his mixed martial arts debut next year, one thing fight fans can officially rule out for ‘The Problem Child’ is a long-teased scrap with his own brother and WWE Superstar, Logan Paul. Addressing long-standing rumors of the two going toe-to-toe, Paul said that is definitely something they had considered at one point, but that is no longer the case.

It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between social media star Jake Paul and former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor.“I don’t think he is a good fighter,” Paul added. “After seeing what Nate Diaz did to him, hurt him like… How did Nate Diaz hurt anybody with his punches in his whole entire career? F*cking dropping guys, hitting Conor, and Conor’s all wobbly in the cage. I could have stood there chin out and let Nate Diaz punch me as hard as he wanted to and the sh*t wouldn’t hurt at all.”

“Also, I think we’re in an era where we’re kind of willing to do anything for views and clicks,” Logan Paul added. “I can definitely say that for myself. When your priorities are skewed in that way, fighting your family member was an option. That was on the table. I was like, ‘Alright, sounds like an entertaining option.’ And I’m sure it would be. It would be fantastic.”

Logan and Jake Paul Dismiss the Idea of One Day Fighting Each Other

“Let’s sweeten that pot a little bit because I know you’ve been having trouble convincing Nate to fight you in an MMA match,” Logan Paul said. “Why don’t we get me on the same card and I’ll fight Nick Diaz?”

With their boxing match officially in the books, Jake Paul is determined to coax Nate Diaz into running it back inside the PFL Smart Cage next year. Thus far, Diaz has remained non-committal regarding the million offer for an MMA-based rematch, but Logan Paul suggested they could sweeten the pot by bringing Nick Diaz into the picture.

“He was saying the R-word and other stuff,” Paul said of McGregor’s latest social media meltdown during a recent episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast. “Crazy stuff. Coked out of his mind, bro. Guy’s lost it. He’s really lost it.”

“Yeah, we had to squash that narrative,” Jake Paul said of potentially fighting his brother. “It was definitely something of the past, but rightfully so. You gotta be young and stupid cause then you have to mature from that. But everyone has stupid a** sh*t that they think of and do when we’re young kids”

“No, not at all. I actually liked it because I wanted more people to get rowdy on Nate’s side of things and for Nate to have a lot of support going into the fight. It’s all like, who cares? Drake’s going to do whatever he wants. He’s a man and he’s been a Nate Diaz fan and likes the Diaz brothers since he first started watching fighting, as everyone. It only makes sense for him to ride with Nate.”
