During the UFC on ESPN 49 face-offs, Norma Dumont and Chelsea Chandler got into a heated altercation. The pair traded verbal jabs backstage as they walked off after an intense stare-down. Dumont appeared to be the aggressor, hurling insults at Chandler who threw up the middle finger and received an equally fiery response back. The two needed to get separated by bystanders as they nearly came to blows.

Chandler first gained attention for her athletic talent inside the octagon under the Invicta banner in Nov. 2018. Following an unsuccessful debut, she racked up a four-fight win streak before joining the UFC roster in 2022.
