- Brian Ortega took a jab at Tracy Cortez on social media months after their split
- Cortez clapped back at her ex-boyfriend
In a response tweet, Cortez hit back and pointed out that ever since their breakup, she never said anything “negative” about Ortega. She is baffled by why Ortega decided to “bash” her now and she is calling a halt sooner rather than later.
Just stop it
Ortega and Cortez never really divulged the reason behind their untimely split but if there’s one thing certain, it would be the fact that they still have an amazing UFC career, respectively.
Ortega drew first blood when he tweeted that he didn’t “fumble.” In fact, “T-City” insists that he was the one who “threw Cortez away” from his life.
“Let me just say that to this day, I’ve yet to say anything negative about you or bash your name! Don’t start throwing shade now. I’m blessed. #MoveWithLove,” Cortez wrote.

UFC women’s flyweight Tracy Cortez is not happy with how her ex-boyfriend and featherweight contender Brian Ortega seemingly threw shade at her following their split earlier this year. In an attempt to stop “T-City” from running his mouth again, Cortez called him out on a social media post.
As it stands, Cortez is set to face Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC Fight Night 227 in September. She will be looking to improve her already impressive four-fight winning streak. On the other hand, Ortega is coming off a devastating interim featherweight title fight loss to Yair Rodriguez but is still the division’s No. 3 contender. He is currently being linked to a showdown with the scorching undefeated featherweight Ilia Topuria, who had just broke into the 145-division’s Top 5.
“Everyone out here talking bout I fumbled. Y’all must not know the rules of the game. When you drop the ball on accident that’s a fumble, but when you throw it away on purpose. That’s called a complete pass . Top G shit!,” Ortega tweeted.

Brian and Tracy’s UFC Careers are Still Intact
