Fight fans shouldn’t expect McGregor vs. Chandler to take place in 2023. McGregor did not meet the deadline to re-enter the USADA testing pool in order to compete this year. A Conor McGregor UFC return won’t be happening until at least 2024, but some are convinced that the “Notorious” one is done fighting altogether.

McGregor was last seen fighting under the UFC banner back in July 2021. He took on Dustin Poirier in a trilogy fight. Things didn’t end well at all for “Mystic Mac.” In the first round, McGregor fractured his tibia and fibula. Poirier won the fight via TKO due to doctor’s stoppage, and McGregor had to undergo surgery.
