Tyson Fury has received an offer from the UFC to fight heavyweight champion, Jon Jones
Fight negotiations between Jon Jones and Tyson Fury seem to be moving in the right direction once the UFC has gotten involved.Fury wants the fight to be held in the boxing ring but would be open to a one and one situation. He spoke about this on Twitter Spaces with foxifytrade via The Mac Life. In this audio, he claims that the UFC has sent over an offer.
“I’ve been in talks with Francis Ngannou for a hybrid fight. There’s talks of me and Jon Jones doing a hybrid fight,” Fury said. “As we talk right now I received an offer from the UFC yesterday. So we never know what’s going to happen. The future’s bright for sure. And there’s a lot of options out there. And it seems at the moment I’m struggling to get an actual boxing opponent.”
Fury and Jones have been going back and forth on social media lately. It all began with UFC commentator Joe Rogan hypothetically saying Jones could beat Fury. Now it seems these two may be heading for an actual fight. UFC president Dana White chimed in on this and is looking to put the two of them together inside the UFC Octagon.
