Logan Paul Talks Becoming Champion In WWE, UFC, And Boxing

Published:

Adesanya is more focused on his next UFC middleweight title defense. After regaining the 185-pound throne against Alex Pereira, ‘The Last Stylebender’ will likely fight the winner of the UFC 290 main card matchup between Robert Whittaker and Dricus Du Plessis. With that said, Whittaker or Du Plessis might have to wait if they can’t avoid a severe injury. Paul continued building on his versatility by signing with the WWE. The co-founder of PRIME has succeeded in professional wrestling due to his high-level athleticism and high school wrestling experience, making him an intriguing candidate for an MMA fight. “I might have to do a UFC fight… It was an impaulsive seed that blossomed into a redwood… I had this idea one day, I said to myself, I don’t think there’s ever been a simultaneous WWE, UFC, and boxing champion.”

Adesanya could need a different challenger as he hopes to headline UFC 293 on September 9. The event will take place inside the Vivinit Arena in Sydney, Australia.

During the latest episode of his podcast called IMPAULSIVE, Paul told Israel Adesanya about this shower thought:

Logan Paul revealed a shower thought about becoming a simultaneous champion in WWE, UFC, and boxing. “You ain’t fighting me… I’m not fighting you… It’s not even that, it’s like for me to get to, no disrespect, to get where I’ve gotten too, to do what I’ve done.”

Logan Paul has said his hypothetical MMA transition would be at 185 pounds. Therefore, Paul was discussing his UFC title vision in front of the reigning middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. During the same podcast episode, Adesanaya responded with a cordial vibe but quickly shut down a potential fight against Paul by saying:

Paul continued by saying:“I’m confident I can get a WWE championship… Boxing, one of the like lower tiers, there’s a 100 different, what is a real boxing champion? I ran into a problem with the UFC championship because of you [Adesanya].”
